1952 Dodge B1-C “Job Rated” Truck ¾ ton-flat6 230cu/in.-108hp. 3 speed Fluid drive standard transmission.
New dual (b1b) carburetors.              
Upgraded 12v, Electronic ignition. Runs fine. (98K original miles)  
Patina Condition. 
This model “C” was manufactured in Michigan assembled in Los Angeles and was designed for commercial use. Engineers shifted the engine forward and the front axle moved back on the frame for better weight distribution as well as a shorter wheelbase, moving from 116” to 108”. 
The redesigned cab, known as the "pilot-house" cab, added 2.5 inches more height, 6 inches more width and 3 inches additional in length.
The 3-speed shift lever was relocated from the floor to the steering column to seat 3 people. This "pilot-house" cab came with the optional rear quarter windows.
The cargo box/ increased over previous models with higher bed sides for an extra load capacity of 40%. The cab was mounted on rubber mounts for an improved ride.
This particular truck was manufactured for “Bell Telephone Co.” in Los Angeles, Ca.
Optional overload springs to increase hauling capacity with factory installed trailer hitch concealed behind license plate.
Another innovation for the time was the use of cross-steering arrangement, giving the trucks a 37° turning radius.
